Tony Merida

Tony Merida (PhD, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary) brings a wealth of experience as a pastor, church planter, and professor. Dr. Merida is the Founding Pastor of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, NC. He is also the Dean of Grimké Seminary and a board member for the Gospel Coalition. He has written several books including The Christ-Centered Expositor, Love Your Church, The Faithful Church Planter, and multiple volumes in the Christ-Centered Exposition commentary series. He is happily married to Kimberly, and they have five adopted children.

Nathan Tarr

Nathan Tarr (PhD, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary), a noted pastor, professor, and historical theologian, is Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology and the Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Phoenix Seminary. He also serves as a chaplain in the Arizona Air National Guard. Before moving to Phoenix, Dr. Tarr pastored churches in Knoxville, TN and Raleigh, NC. He and his wife, Devon, enjoy parenting their five children.

David Mathis

David Mathis (MDiv, Reformed Theological Seminary) is Senior Teacher and Executive Editor at Desiring God, Pastor at Cities Church in Saint Paul, MN, and an adjunct professor for Bethlehem College and Seminary. Mathis has written several books including Habits of Grace: Enjoying Jesus through the Spiritual Disciplines, and Workers for Your Joy. He and his wife, Megan, have four children.

Dane Ortlund

Dane Ortlund (PhD, Wheaton) was called to be the Senior Pastor at Naperville Presbyterian Church in 2020 after being part of the church for thirteen years. Prior to coming on staff, he worked for ten years in Christian publishing at Crossway. Dr. Ortlund is an editor for the Knowing the Bible series and the Short Studies in Biblical Theology series. He is also the author of several books, including Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers and Deeper: Real Change for Real Sinners. He married his college sweetheart, Stacey, and they have five children.
