Alistair Begg is the Bible teacher on Truth For Life, a daily and weekend program that brings the exposition of Scripture to a global audience through radio, podcast, and a wide range of digital and streaming platforms. Since its launch in 1995, Truth For Life has featured teaching drawn from Alistair’s decades of faithful preaching at Parkside Church, where he served as senior pastor from 1983 until 2025. 
Today, Alistair is actively engaged with Truth For Life and speaks frequently at
conferences throughout the United States and around the world, where he encourages pastors, theology students, and believers and proclaims the Gospel to those who have yet to come to faith in Jesus Christ. 
Alistair is the author of several books, including Name Above All Names, Pray Big, and Brave by Faith. His books have been translated into many languages and are read by a global audience. 
Alistair began in pastoral ministry in 1975 after graduating from the London School of Theology. Before joining Parkside Church, he served for eight years in Scotland, ministering at Charlotte Chapel in Edinburgh and Hamilton Baptist Church. 
Alistair and his wife, Susan, have been married since 1975. They have three grown children and nine grandchildren.

Daniel Doriani is Professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Covenant Seminary. He earned his MDiv and PhD at Westminster Seminary and a Masters at Yale University where he was also a research fellow in 1981 and 1995. After finishing his PhD, Dr. Doriani pastored a small church for four years and taught theology at a college level for five years before becoming a professor of New Testament at Covenant Seminary in 1991. He taught from 1991 to 2003 and from 2013 until the present, serving as Academic Dean and/or Vice President for sixteen of those years while teaching full-time. From 2003 to 2013 he pastored a large urban church, and from 2023 to 2025 he served as Interim Pastor at Briarwood Presbyterian Church, the founding church of the PCA. He has served as interim pastor on eight other occasions.


Dr. Doriani joined the executive board of The Gospel Coalition in 2022. He frequently speaks at conferences and has authored or co-authored twenty books. Two facilitate interpretation and application of Scripture, Getting the Message and Putting the Truth to Work. Seven are New Testament commentaries. Others explore biblical ethics, gender roles, biblical manhood, and work. His book
Work: Its Purpose, Dignity, and Transformation led him to establish the Center for Faith and Work in St. Louis in 2019. Its podcast, “Working, with Dan Doriani,” interviews people who change their corner of the world through their work. He is currently working on a commentary on 1 Corinthians and a book about fatherhood.

Luke Simmons serves as founding and lead pastor of Ironwood Church in Mesa, Arizona, which has grown to a congregation of 2,400 over 18 years. With a background in church planting and multi-congregational leadership, Luke now coaches and resources pastors through Faithful and Fruitful. He can be heard on the King & Culture and Preaching Through podcasts. Luke lives in Queen Creek, Arizona with his wife, Molly, and their four children.

Dr. Matthew Bingham joined Phoenix Seminary in 2024 following years of service in both academic and pastoral roles in the United States and the United Kingdom. Most recently, he taught and held administrative leadership positions at Oak Hill College in London. In addition to his academic work, he has served as a pastor in congregations in the United States and Northern Ireland.

A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, Dr. Bingham’s research focuses on the theology and ecclesial developments of post-Reformation England. He is the author of A Heart Aflame for God (Crossway, 2025) and Orthodox Radicals: Baptist Identity in the English Revolution (Oxford University Press, 2019), as well as numerous articles in peer-reviewed academic journals.

Since August of 2026, Dr. Bingham has served as the newly appointed Campus Dean of  Talbot Seminary – Phoenix, previously Phoenix Seminary.

He and his wife, Shelley, have four children: Amelia, John, James, and David.
